Springboards Mod 1.7.10 adds three new blocks, which all allow the player to break their falls and jump much higher than the default single block.

Springboards Mod

Features:

  • Weak Spring: The Weak Spring is the first tier of spring from Springboards. When right clicked while being stood upon, the player will be able to jump up to 8 blocks into the air. If the player falls from 8 blocks above the spring, they will receive no damage. It can be upgraded into the Medium Spring.
  • Medium Spring: The Medium Spring is the second tier of spring from Springboards. When right clicked while being stood upon, the player will be able to jump up to 16 blocks into the air. If the player falls from 16 blocks above the spring, they will receive no damage. It can be upgraded into the Strong Spring.
  • Strong Spring: The Strong Spring is the third and final tier of spring from Springboards. When right clicked while being stood upon, the player will be able to jump up to 32 blocks into the air. If the player falls from 32 blocks above the spring, they will receive no damage.

Crafting Recipes:

To use a spring, stand on it, and then right click on it with an empty hand. You will launch into the air depending on the strength of the spring.

Additionally, a spring can break your fall when you land on it – again, based on how strong the spring is. If you fall further down than the spring can launch you up, it will still reduce the damage you take, but won’t protect you completely.

The weak spring will launch the player up eight blocks.
