Hostility Level (Hostile)

A piglin brute is a hostile mob. The term mob is short for mobile and is used to refer to all living, moving creatures in the game such as chickens, creepers, and piglin brutes. Because a piglin brute is a hostile mob, it will attack you in Survival mode but not Creative mode.

Health Points

In Minecraft, a piglin brute has 25 hearts  for health. This gives a piglin brute 50 health points (because 1 heart = 2 health points). To kill a piglin brute, you need to inflict 50 points of damage to the piglin brute.

Where to Find Piglin Brutes

In Minecraft, you can find piglin brutes guarding treasure in the Bastion Remnant in the Nether.

Attack Method

In Minecraft, a piglin brute will move towards you and strike you with its golden axe.

Behavior

  1. Piglin brutes are not afraid of anything.
  2. They are not distracted by gold and can not be bartered with.
  3. The only item that a piglin brute will pick up off the ground is a golden axe (or enchanted one).
  4. They will attack players (even if the player is wearing a piece of golden armor).
  5. Because piglin brutes are so tough, they do not wear armor (or need to pick up and equip armor items).
  6. They can open wooden doors.
  7. They do not attack hoglins.

Drops

When you kill a piglin brute in Minecraft, there is a small chance that the piglin brute may drop its golden axe.

Make sure you pick up any dropped items before they disappear. They are useful and should be kept in your inventory to be used later.

Experience Points
