Basic Shields Mod (1.19.2, 1.18.2) basically adds vanilla-style shields to Minecraft for each material. A shield is undoubtedly helpful as it can guard players against damages that they would often receive if they were careless in certain situations. But making one at the beginning of the game will be a bit difficult if you can’t find iron; Basic Shields Mod will solve this problem. You will be able to craft shields with a variety of materials, such as a shield made of wood or more powerfully made from diamonds.
