Small lightweight-server side mod which controls and limits loaded chunks to only stay X time after player logout. Limited Chunkloading Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.4) cleans up loaded chunks (tickets) X minutes after a player logs off. Also cleans up loaded chunks of mod’s chunkloaders, add excluded ones to the config to disable

Features:

  • Servers historically always had issues when there are mods that allow loading chunks while the player is offline, due to those chunks creating lag for the currently playing people.
  • This mod serves as a middle-way between no chunk loading at all and chunkloading forever, by unloading these loaded chunks after a configured time after the corresponding player logged off.
  • It allows the player to keep chunks loaded while actively playing and stops them from impacting other’s play experience by limiting the time chunk loading stays active after they are gone.
