Ariadne’s Thread Mod [1.21.1] [1.20.4] [1.19.2] – Java Edition

Ariadne’s Thread Mod [1.21.1] [1.20.4] [1.19.2] is inspired by the myth of the labyrinth and the Minotaur. It adds an item that allows you to track your path. Once you’ve crafted the Thread, simply right-click it to activate it. Every 20 ticks, it saves your position (if you’re far enough from the previous one) and draws a line connecting those points. This line is visible through blocks and changes color to indicate the start and end of your travel. The mod is mainly intended to help you find your way back out of sprawling cave systems, but it can be useful in other scenarios as well.
