After installing Footprint Particle Mod [1.20.6] [1.20.1] [1.19.4] [1.18.2], mobs and players will start leaving traces on the blocks they’ve passed. The mod is easily configurable, allowing you to set up which blocks the traces will appear on, the mobs responsible for creating them, as well as the shape and size of the traces.
