No Gui Chest Mod [1.20.4] [1.20.1] removes the interface from chests. Items will literally lie in an open chest, and to take them, you’ll need to click on them with an empty hand. Clicking with an item will replace it with the one you clicked on. However, if you still need the classic interface, you can open it by clicking on any side of the chest except the top one.
